I think everyone should experience love from a dog. My dog Kona is the best. Kona and I didn't always get along. She is smelly, loud and can really follow you around. Honestly she was a sensory overload in the very beginning. However it was very clear that she wasn't going anywhere and let's be real neither was I. Overtime we learned to get along. It was a slow but steady build. Our relationship grew into unconditional love for each other. Kona waits for me to come home from school every day. And honestly it is a greeting I truly look forward to. We love to play this game of tug of war with each other and Kona uses my socks as her rope. I love feeding her scraps of my food from under the kitchen table. Most of all I love her cuddles. She is my favorite furry sister.

Thank you Ryan for sharing your blog with me. I am delighted that others, outside your family and friends, will get to know what a beautiful person you are. I will certainly share this site so that other children and families can learn from you.
Fondly,
Dr. Fassil
Good morning Ryan, I’m your mother’s Aunt Barbara. That makes you my Great Nephew and that makes me happy! We do not have a dog, but we did many years ago. We loved her as you love Kona:) Christmas is coming soon, what gift are you hoping to receive Christmas morning?
Hi, Ryan! I love your story about Kona and your special relationship ❤️. We have a furry baby too named Goldie, which is short for Marigold (the beautiful flower). I look forward to your next story!
You’re so lucky to have Kona! We have a cat; my boys (ages 8 and 11) keep asking for a dog - instead they get to enjoy all of the neighborhood dogs while they’re out for walks.
Hi Ryan! My sister is married to your dad’s uncle Chris. I loved reading your beautiful words about your wonderful fur sister. Although i am a (gasp!) cat person, i do love dogs and I have many friends who also have dogs. I’m going to share this with them as I know they’ll appreciate it. Keep up the writing. I look forward to your next post!
